CDM update
The conference and concert both went really well. Rock your Party was attended by appx. 325 people and Rock the Caucus a little under 150.
Up next we have some caucus trainings (go to http://www.mydfl.org for more information). We're also starting to plan our 2004 Spring Convention. If you have any ideas, please let us know!

What all happened on the 24th...
At the DFL Central Comittee meeting, CDM applied for a full charter with the DFL and got it. This establishes CDM as a bonafide organization within the DFL and we're all really excited about it. One of our goals has always been to bring in younger people into the DFL Party and this is a big first step to do that. (Up next is the caucuses on March 2nd!)
After the meeting, some of us went over to Augsburg College to play hockey with Buck Humphrey and some DFL staff members and 2004 House Candidates. Everyone who was there had a blast. Score wasn't kept, but we beat them pretty badly :). We'll definetly be doing something like this again soon. After the game we went to Davanni's Pizza for some socializing.

Rock the Caucus/Rock your Party update!
Tonight at the MYDFL meeting, Kara and I discussed CDM's plans for "Rock the Caucus" and how it related to MYDFL's "Rock your Party." "Rock the Caucus" will be taking place at the Machinists Labor Temple at 1399 Eustis Ave, right off of Hwy 280 and Como Ave in St. Paul, starting at 6:30PM. "Rock your Party" will be taking place at Hamline University in St. Paul and will go from 11:00AM to 5:00PM - register at www.mydfl.org. Right after the conference, head over to the concert for free pizza, beverages, fun, and music! Bands include Somerset (www.somersetrock.com), Liquid Sun (www.liquid-sun.com), Heidi Boe, and The Blend (www.theblendmpls.com). Come rock out, support local music, and support Democrats! See you there!
